At Nashcon last weekend I picked up a few MDF kits from Impudent Mortal<\/a>. \u00a0They are not very involved kits, so I knocked them out when I just had a few minutes of free time. \u00a0This set is the remote sentry weapon, but I think it will look good as some sort of crew-served system as well. \u00a0I placed a 28mm figure next to it for scale. \u00a0Note that the site of the weapon is translucent.<\/p>\n

I started work over the weekend on three units of space ducks. \u00a0These were originally issued by Archive Miniatures and are difficult to find. \u00a0I am painting them in primary colors. \u00a0I started by priming them black and then dry brushing the whole figures in white. \u00a0Now I am painting in the various colors. \u00a0The original sculpt is a bit mushy, but they paint up just fine.<\/p>\n

Also from Impudent Mortal<\/a>, I picked up picked up this neat industrial kit. \u00a0While it is meant to be some sort of industrial tanks, I may use it as the engine room as I construct my space ship for science fiction games with Combat Patrol<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finally, I put together these three Quonset huts from Impudent Mortal<\/a>. \u00a0They are slightly bigger than the Dust Tactics ones. \u00a0These come in a pack of three.<\/p>\n

I have begun working on an excellent building kit from Sally 4th. \u00a0Watch for a review and the finished product in a week or see when I return from a week of family vacation.<\/p>\n
