I have been facetiously calling them &#8220;Anglo Somethings,&#8221; because I will use them as Saxons, Danes, or whatever is needed for a scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"644\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_7886-2-1024x644.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9972\" srcset=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_7886-2-1024x644.jpeg 1024w, http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_7886-2-300x189.jpeg 300w, http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_7886-2-768x483.jpeg 768w, http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_7886-2.jpeg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These were fun to paint.  I am still not sold on plastic figures. The scenario was mediaeval, but I don&#8217;t have any mediaeval figures, so I just used these.  Buck&#8217;s Law says that the first time you put a new unit on the table, it gets spanked.
