the fire and roasting chestnuts. \u00a0These Soldiers braved bullets and bombs. \u00a0They spent Christmas in steamy climates. \u00a0Pause a moment to think of the Soldiers serving overseas and away of my 30+ years in the military is that I never had the opportunity to see Bob Hope in concert. \u00a0Bob Hope is a real hero. \u00a0He never concerned himself with the politics of the war. \u00a0Wherever Soldiers served, Hope was there (pun intended). \u00a0Bob Hope spent many, many years having Christmas dinner with the troops and bringing a little joy to break up the monotony of the war.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/frontlinechristmas9.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
